Expression of Interest for IVD innovators and manufacturers

Market Access Africa in collaboration with Global Health Labs, Inc, a nonprofit corporation fully funded by Gates Ventures, invites African innovators and in vitro diagnostic (IVD) manufacturers to participate in the survey(s) that seeks to understand the current research and development and local manufacturing capabilities to manufacturer IVDs. The intelligence gathered from the survey(s) will inform investment decision to enhance innovation delivery, international technology transfer or contract manufacturing of IVD on the continent.

The purpose of this call is to:

• To directly engage with potential innovation and manufacturing partners across Africa to better understand their current capabilities and trends in the local R&D of point-of-care diagnostic tests and instrument platforms. By doing so, it seeks to identify opportunities that could foster the growth of this emerging market, in response to the increasing interest from thought leaders, public health funders, and policymakers in enhancing local and self-sufficient R&D as well as manufacturing capacities
